Rola Al Ghali
Rola Al Ghali is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University. Rola holds a BSc (with distinction) and MSc in Nutrition from the American University of Beirut.
Rola’s prior research involved body composition assessment, nutritional status assessment, prevalence of non-communicable diseases, and food composition analysis. Currently, Rola’s focus is on the development and validation of nutrition-related assessment tools, analyzing dietary intakes, and investigating factors impacting sodium intake among Canadian adults.
Of particular interest to Rola is the use of artificial intelligence in nutrition research and the evaluation of nutrition policy outcomes, with the goal of informing evidence-based strategies to improve public health.
