Jackie Brown

Jackie is a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts & Science at McGill University and her Master’s of Health Science at Ontario Tech University. Prior to starting her doctoral studies, Jackie worked as a Clinical Research Project Coordinator at the Hospital for Sick Children’s Centre for Global Child Health. 

 

Jackie’s doctoral studies focus on evaluating a school-based digital nutrition education intervention, Foodbot Factory, to improve children’s food literacy skills. Her research interests include the development and evaluation of digital health interventions, understanding the digital environments that shape children’s food literacy, and using public health strategies to promote child health and well-being.
