Arti Parpia

PhD Student | MSc RD

Arti Parpia is a registered dietitian at Unity Health Toronto and a practice-based researcher at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. With over 15 years of experience supporting patients with chronic kidney disease, she is deeply committed to research that directly informs and improves patient care. She is currently a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University.

 

Arti holds a BScHE from the University of Western Ontario and an MSc from the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on renal nutrition, particularly in patients receiving hemodialysis. Arti is especially interested in exploring ways to liberalize the renal diet to enhance health outcomes and quality of life for patients.
